COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM
This program is designed to benefit low income individuals & families by allowing them to take part in our many services free of charge. OUR COMMUNITY will benefit as a whole by allowing children, youth, adults and the aged gain wellness and better health by participating in fun and enriching activities and workshops, thus reducing direct and indirect financial and stress related hurdles that accompany physical ill health and mental health issues within the community.
Funding is provided by fundraising and donations. Our gift shop also sells many items whose profits go into the program. If you want to help with fundraising or want to make a donation please contact us or use the donation button. Donations of hay, oats, paper, reading and art supplies, lumber, shavings, and many useful services (veterinary, grooming, fundraising, advertising, printing etc.) are always welcome. We'll even list you as a friend or sponsor on our website. We will place a banner and link if you own a business or run a professional service.
Who can apply and for what? Check our upcoming events and also our services pages and see if there is anything that may benefit you. Be advised: you may have to wait for an opening to become available, this will depend on how successful ongoing fundraising is. Then contact us if you qualify for a subsidised place (previous year's income tax form, Child Tax Benefit form, H.S.T., child maintenance support information, alimony information, RECEIPTS FOR meds. & rent/mortgage payments are required), see chart below:
